Hey everyone! We're less than 20 days from submissions closing for StoryMakers 2026, and I wanted to reach out to you directly. If you know someone in your network: a friend making content, a creative peer, someone processing a transition in their life, who's got something to say but maybe not the outlet to say it, this is it. The beautiful part: these films don't just live in a competition. They become starting points for real conversations in our community spaces, our schools, our circles. That's where the healing happens when someone watches and thinks, "oh, that's what I've been feeling.

With just 30 days left before StoryMakers submissions close, we wanted to revisit one of the most meaningful conversations from our Film Talks. We're sharing three reminders from filmmakers Giselle Lin and Linh Duong for anyone who's still hesitating to submit. If you've ever thought your idea is not good enough, worrying that you don't know enough about filmmaking, or feeling like you're simply not ready, this one’s for you. We hope these reflections help you move past those doubts and take the first step toward telling your story. 🎬 StoryMakers 2026 submissions are now open. 📅 Submission
