Joining a public Telegram group carries no risk to your wallet or device by itself. The real risk in crypto groups is social engineering — unsolicited DMs from fake "admins" offering deals after you join. NFT Updates is listed in our directory, but the rule applies everywhere: never respond to DMs from unknown accounts after joining any crypto group. Your phone number is never visible to other members unless you've made it public in your Telegram privacy settings. With 15,898 members, NFT Updates is an established community — larger groups are generally less likely to be freshly created scam operations.

No. Telegram never notifies your contacts when you join or leave a group. Other members inside NFT Updates can see your username only if you post — your membership is not visible to anyone outside the group.

We verify every listing is publicly accessible, has a minimum member count, and exclude groups Telegram has marked as harmful. NFT Updates currently has 15,898 members. If you've joined NFT Updates and noticed something suspicious — a review on this page helps others stay safe.
