Joining a public Telegram group carries no risk to your wallet or device by itself. The real risk in crypto groups is social engineering — unsolicited DMs from fake "admins" offering deals after you join. Shady is listed in our directory, but the rule applies everywhere: never respond to DMs from unknown accounts after joining any crypto group. Your phone number is never visible to other members unless you've made it public in your Telegram privacy settings.

No. Telegram never notifies your contacts when you join or leave a group. Other members inside Shady can see your username only if you post — your membership is not visible to anyone outside the group.

Shady is a Telegram group for anyone interested in media and fun. Members can expect regular discussions on chat and random, along with miscellaneous to explore.

We verify every listing is publicly accessible, has a minimum member count, and exclude groups Telegram has marked as harmful. Shady currently has 230 members and is marked as active, last verified 22 Sep 2026. If you've joined Shady and noticed something suspicious — a review on this page helps others stay safe.
